The Internet and, more specifically, Social Media, have had an undeniable effect on how things work within the Entertainment Industry. What’s even more incredible is how quickly things changed.
I’ve been in Los Angeles for almost six years now and it’s been crazy to see how companies have made more and more of a shift to include social media within their advertising.
Internet based commercials are one thing, but being involved in commercials that specifically target social media apps is a completely different experience. And even though I’ve done a social media commercial before, this commercial for Obiriders is the first time I’ve ever done what would be considered “User Generated Content.”
Yeah you read that right, I did a social media commercial that I also was able to direct to some degree, which was a great experience. I’m very grateful to have had another opportunity to expand and diversify my resume even more.
